Q&A with Rob...

What is your birthday?  May 26

Where were you born?  In a hospital! LOL! Seriously now – the great city of Chicago! Go Cubs!

What's your hometown?  Mayberry, A.K.A. Riverside, CA

Who are your major musical influences? Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, and Richie Sambora

What was the first album you owned? Paul Stanley of Kiss’ first solo album. The next 15 albums or so that I bought were also from Kiss. Yes, I’m a member of the Kiss Army, baby!

Your first rock concert? Bon Jovi followed by Poison and Warrant. Yes, I miss the 80’s hair bands and I’m not afraid to say it!

Your first band?  It was so long ago but I think it was a band called Redline

Your most memorable gig?  May 25, 2008. It was our first time at the world famous Whisky-A-GO-GO and oh what a show-show!

What would be your dream tour? Opening for Bon Jovi. They’re the reason I picked up a guitar and I haven’t put it down since.

What's your favorite Hotwired song?  “Gotta Get Me Some,” because it’s the story of us

And your favorite song to play live? "I Never Loved You Anyway" ('cause it’s the newest song)

What's your worst Spinal Tap moment?  Haven’t had one yet but I’ll keep you posted!

What's your favorite sport/sports team?  Da Bears! And the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs! God it feels great to say that!

Favorite movies?  Star Wars (The originals and the newest Disney made movies), The Rocky Saga including Creed, School of Rock, Dumb and Dumber, Wonder Woman, Planet of the Apes trilogy, Big, The Burbs, Almost Famous, Rockstar, and just about everything with Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, and Jack Black. To me, they’re the kings of comedy.

Favorite TV Shows?  The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Silicon Valley, That 70's Show, and Friends

Favorite Actor/Actress? Jim Carrey/Charlize Theron (though Megan Fox is great eye-candy!)

Favorite Restaurant?  Hooters (for the food of course;-)

Favorite pig-out food? White chocolate flavored pretzels. I can’t eat just one!

Favorite color(s)? Red and black just like my blood

Favorite article of clothing?  The pink thong I’m wearing right now!

Favorite Vacation Spot?  Las Vegas, but only when I win!

What was your worst job ever?  Sales Associate at Old Navy

Who was your first crush?  When I was 14 and went head over heels for a girl named Carrie.  When I saw her a couple of years later, I was like "What the hell was I thinking!"

What's the worst date you've ever been on?  When I was 18 I took a girl who lived down my street to her prom. Once we got there, she commenced to dance and flirt with every dateless guy who was there. After a couple of hours I left and walked 5 miles in the pouring rain until I got back home.

What's your perfect/ideal date?  Preferably someone with a pulse!

What do you like to do in your spare time?  I like to play naked hula-hoop! But seriously, I play my guitar. It’s what I love to do.

If you were stranded on an island and could only listen to one album, what would it be? Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet, but a close second would be Kiss Alive. Both are timeless classics and they bring back fond memories of my childhood.

If you made a movie, what it would be about? A rock band, one full of tenacity and the determination to never quit. One that goes from being the biggest underdog to being the biggest band on Earth. And you’d call it… I think you know what I’d call it;-)

Who would you count on to rob a bank with you? Why? My band. We’re partners in crime and like most musicians, we can sure use the money!

If you could be anyone for a day, who it would be?  Megan Fox! I would never leave my room;-)

If you could create your own rock & roll heaven for when you die, what would it be like? It would include Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, John Bonham, and Elvis. We would jam right outside The Pearly Gates so all those waiting to get in would have something to pass the time with. Heaven would never be the same!
