“There's more to life than being in a rock & roll band - unless, of course, music is your life!”
Not long ago, on a stage not far away... Hotwired is an original, female fronted, hard rock band from Southern California. The band's music embodies the spirit of the rock & roll arena band. With "fist pumping" anthems, story driven power ballads, and uptempo hard rock jams, Hotwired covers a myriad of songmanship. Since the band's inception in 2008, they have become a staple on Hollywood's famed Sunset Strip. Some of the venues they played over the years include the Viper Room, Key Club, Roxy, Rainbow, and the band's "Home away from home," the Whisky A Go Go. It was at the Whisky that the band really started to hone their playing and performance skills. Along with building a dedicated fan base, the Whisky took notice and Hotwired began opening for national touring acts including Jack Russell's Great White, Kix, Black N Blue, Gilby Clarke (formerly of Guns & Roses), and the Whisky's 50th Anniversary Celebration with Lita Ford, Slash, Cherie Currie (formerly of the Runaways), and Glen Hughes of Deep Purple. Hotwired has also opened for Missing Persons and Great White during their 25th anniversary tour in 2009. Recently, Hotwired was Radio Station Q103.3's 2017 Rising Star contest winner. Besides having one of their songs played on the radio, they got to perform at the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival on June 3 with Bush, Gin Blossoms, and Tonic. The band is currently looking forward to hitting the studio to record their debut album. Hotwired - Who says rock is dead!
